TESTIMONIALS
I am Dejan and this is my testimony of how I came to the truth, that is, Jesus.
I was born in 1976 and all my life I believed that something more existed and I searched for the truth, the reason for the existence of life. When I was a teenager I called myself an atheist and said that everything could be explained by science and so I grew up and said that God does not exist.
Maybe that is the reason why I have been involved in science all my life. Apart from my grandmother, no one in my family believed in the living God, some did, but religiously in the sense that they went to burn flowers, celebrate holidays, but I saw only hatred and evil in them, so that only reinforced the idea that God does not exist in me. Later I got married and had a son and that was when I saw the first miracle in my life. My wife and son left the hospital one Friday morning. That same day at noon we received an urgent letter from the hospital saying that we had to bring the baby to the hospital as soon as possible because he had a dangerous illness. We had two days to find out about the illness until the following Monday and we found out that it was a growth hormone disease and that the disease was incurable. The symptoms were related to mental development and that the child could not live beyond 25 years. It was indescribably difficult for us at that time, our whole life fell apart within a few hours because there was no cure for that illness. That was the first time I knelt down in the room and said "God, just do this for me and I will never ask you for anything else". I said that even though I said that God did not exist. When we arrived at the hospital on Monday morning, the doctor received us with another colleague and told us to sit down. She told us that she had something important to announce to us: "Your child is healthy, there was a mistake in the papers!". That was a shock of joy for us! Today my son is alive and well.
Despite that miracle, I continued to live as I wanted, which means as before in sin, and I did not look at that miracle more closely. I even believed in extraterrestrials and said that the truth was somewhere on another planet. I went so far as to look for them in some places on the planet. But in 2013, I watched a video where a pastor testifies about aliens and Jesus. At first glance, I wondered what that had to do with it, but the speech began like this: "Aliens exist and they are real. But know that they are not what some people make them out to be, like another being from another planet, but from another dimension, they are demons and their purpose is deception. All truth is in Jesus!" Then something broke in me. That lie burst and I assured that Jesus is the only truth and there is no other. It's strange, but I believed without proof, only on words. Today I know that it was the power of the Holy Spirit that was working in me. I tried to read the Bible but I couldn't because I wasn't free. So I quickly gave up on the word of God and continued to live in sin while saying at the same time that I believed in Jesus Christ. I was deceived. I continued to research about Jesus for 5 years through testimonies, Orthodoxy, Catholicism but none of that was alive, I wanted to meet Jesus. And one day I watched the videos of healings on the streets from TheLastReformation and I couldn't believe that these miracles were possible just like that. I also wanted to be baptized and to repent out loud and to tell Jesus that I believe in Him. I invited born-again Christians to my house who explained the gospel to me and then they laid hands on me and as I spoke the repentance then I felt a strong presence next to me. It was HE, it was Jesus! I just started crying and my body gave out. I fell and was freed from the demon. I felt something coming out of me, I felt heat and some force like electricity but it wasn't electricity. It's hard to explain it in words. I felt an indescribable love and I knew that God had forgiven me everything then. After baptism I was completely different, I no longer hated my enemies I even loved them and I wanted everyone, even them, to know Jesus Christ.
Since my baptism the Lord Jesus Christ has given me the grace to live holy and to see many miracles and to preach the good news to everyone. And that is that through Jesus Christ we have guaranteed eternal life! Jesus is the truth, the way and the life! Jesus is the Lord!
