QUESTIONS/ANSWER
1. I believe in Jesus, what do I need to do now?
You need to be born again by repentance and baptism with the Holy Spirit and water.
2. What does repentance mean and can I continue living as before?
Repentance means asking for forgiveness for all your sins and changing your lifestyle. If you have repented, it does not mean that you can now live a sinful life again, as the Bible warns in many verses. For example, Hebrews 10:26 says, “For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left; but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.”
3. How will I manage to live without sin?
You cannot do it alone! The Bible explains in many verses that when the Holy Spirit fills you, He will enable you to endure all temptations. Jesus will help you, and without Him we can do nothing (John 15:5). Watch this video by Mark Hemans.
4. If I repent, does that mean I can never sin again?
No, you will sin again. There is a big difference between sinning and sinning willfully. If you do sin, the Bible says that we have an advocate with God, and He is Jesus: 1 John 2:1: “My little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous.”
5. Was the Bible written by man or by God?
Human hands wrote it, but the author is God, speaking through the Holy Spirit. So the Bible is the word of God. Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away” (Matthew 24:35).
6. I think I am a good person.
You are not, because God says that we have all sinned and therefore fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). And John says in the First Epistle 1:8-9: “If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all injustice.” It is enough that you lied to be condemned, because lies are from Satan, not from God. And who hasn’t lied at least once in their life, not to mention other sins? Try the self-test at the bottom of this page and judge for yourself how good you are.
7. I do good deeds, I help people, and I think that’s why God will save me.
It is not true, because salvation is a grace, a gift from the Lord, and salvation cannot be earned by good works. You just have to decide if you accept that grace. Will you confess Jesus as Savior and repent of your sins? No one is good enough to deserve eternal life. But when you accept Jesus and are baptized, then you will do good works, because the Holy Spirit will lead you to do so. God says in Ephesians 2:8-10, “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” The bottom line is that we are not saved because of our good works, but by the blood of Jesus Christ, and when we are saved, we do good works.
8. I believe in something or someone else. Can I be saved?
NO. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to God except through Him (John 14:6). In Mark 16:16 Jesus says, “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” And you can watch this video and see for yourself.
9. Do demons exist?
Yes, and so does Satan. One of his biggest lies is that you think he doesn’t exist. Because then you don’t believe the Bible and, in the worst case, you die without Jesus. Watch this video.
10. Does hell exist?
Yes. In Revelation 20:14-15 it says: “And death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whoever was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.”
11. I still have time, I’m young, what’s the point?
About 150,000 people die every day, not only the old but also the young. You don’t know when you will leave this world, and then it’s too late. You make a decision while you’re alive. The Bible says, “Today is the day of salvation.” For example, you have sad news or the number of deaths in the world live here.
12. I was baptized as a baby, is that enough?
That is religion, and it cannot save you, only Jesus and a personal relationship with Him can save you. That relationship is obtained when you repent and are filled with the Holy Spirit. Did you repent as a baby? Of course not. Hypocrisy does not pass muster with God, who sees and knows everything.
13. I go to church and monasteries where I light candles, I celebrate the feast every year.
Colossians 2:8: “Beware lest anyone spoil you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the rudiments of this world, and not according to Christ.”
14. I am an atheist, I do not believe in God. No one is an atheist even if they call themselves that.
God says in Romans 1:20-21: “For since the creation of the world his invisible qualities have been clearly seen, being understood from the things that are made, even his eternal power and divinity, so that they are without excuse. Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, nor gave thanks; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish hearts were darkened.”
15. I graduated from college and university, this insults my intelligence.
If all the recordings are not enough evidence for you, then God says in the First Epistle to the Corinthians 1:19-20: “For it is written: I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will reject the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise?
16. I think the videos are staged.
The healing videos are from different sources and from all over the world. That would mean that no one is telling the truth, and you are right! Think again, maybe you are not the one who is rejecting the truth?
17. What is your denomination, where are you from?
We do not understand the church as a building. We are the church because the Holy Spirit dwells in us. Jesus said: “Destroy this temple and in three days I will build it again.” He meant his body. Watch this video of a brother explaining exactly the church as we understand it.
